Megan comes from a rural and regional medicine background, spending her student clinical years predominantly in Shepparton, Bendigo and Ballarat. She undertook basic physician training at Barwon Health (University Hospital Geelong) before branching into renal medicine. She then completed her advanced training in nephrology at Bendigo Health, Austin Health and University Hospital Geelong.

Megan has a special interest in diabetic nephropathy, peritoneal dialysis, and ‘geriatric’ renal care (dialysis in the elderly and renal conservative care), and particularly enjoys the collaborative approach required in these areas (diabetic services, home dialysis team, palliative care services).

​

She currently has admitting rights for nephrology and general medicine at Epworth Hospital Geelong and St John of God Hospital Geelong.
